Who we are

Discoverywall is run by Cross River Radio Ltd (company number 17407406; our registered office is shown at the foot of every page). You can reach us at contact@crossriverradio.com.

Cross River Radio Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller. Registration reference: ZC275305.

This website

The public pages at discoverywall.com use no cookies, no analytics and no advertising, and load nothing from other companies. Our hosting provider's servers record the technical details of each request (such as your IP address and the page asked for) in the ordinary way, to keep the site running and secure.

If you email us, we use what you send to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not share it.

If you use a station's Discoverywall space

When a station uses Discoverywall, the station decides why and how people's information is used (it is the controller), and Cross River Radio Ltd looks after it on the station's behalf (the processor). The station will have given you its own privacy information. What we hold for a station:

We use it only to provide the service to that station. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with other stations. Stations can only see their own people's information.

Where it is kept, and for how long

In the UK, on Amazon Web Services' London region. Learn records are kept while the station uses the service and for a period afterwards agreed with the station (our default is 90 days after it leaves), after which they are deleted; certificates remain checkable until then. Audit recordings are deleted automatically after the retention period (42 days plus one buffer day).

Who else handles it

Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage and email sending). We have a contract with them covering the protection of personal data.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete information held about you, to object to how it is used, or to complain. For information held by a station, ask the station first; we will help it respond. You can also contact us, and you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

We will update this page when anything changes and show the date above.
