Terms of use
Last updated 1 November 2026.
The service
Discoverywall is provided by Cross River Radio Ltd ("we"). It offers licensed community radio stations ("you") two services: Audit (recording and keeping the station's output) and Learn (training on the Ofcom Broadcasting Code and certificates). Stations are set up by us; there is no self sign-up.
What it is not
- It is not legal advice, and is not approved or endorsed by Ofcom.
- It does not guarantee that you comply with your licence or the Code. That remains your responsibility.
- A Learn certificate is a completion certificate from your station, not an Ofcom qualification.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information, and keep your admins' details up to date.
- Only invite people who should be in your space, and remove them when they leave.
- Keep sign-in details secret, and tell us at once of any misuse.
- Only ask us to record streams you are entitled to record and keep.
- Do not misuse or try to break the service or reach another station's information.
Charges
Audit is charged at a price agreed with each station before recording starts. Learn is free at present. We will tell you in advance of any change to a price you have agreed.
Availability and care
We take reasonable care and monitor the service, and we alert you when we detect problems with a recording. We cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. You should not rely on Discoverywall as your only safeguard.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the charges you paid for the service in the 12 months before it.
Data
How we handle personal information is in our privacy notice. We process your station's data on your behalf and as you instruct.
Ending
Either of us may end the agreement by telling the other. We will then stop the services and handle your data as described in the privacy notice. We may suspend a station that breaches these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
